A family, Health Extension Worker, me, and visiting Peace Corps Volunteer friend talked about complementary feeding for 6 month - 2 year olds. We made enriched porridge with carrot, banana, and milk.

Ayinalem graduation

Today Ayinalem graduated from the Peace Corps household water, sanitation, hygiene, and nutrition program! Ayinalem, Health Extension Worker Tigist and I have been working together since November. Ayinalem has made healthy changes in her household, including growing a vegetable garden and learning how and when to use oral rehydration salts. Next week we will have coffee and she will teach her friends about latrine improvements and critical times for hand-washing. Congratulations Ayinalem and Tigist!
